Sons of Kemet World & UK Tour 2018

Starting in Ireland their journey will take them all over the globe including via Sao Paolo for Nublu Jazz Festival, London’s Field Day Festival and to Canada for Vancouver Jazz Festival among other dates.

For the UK Jazz fans closer to home, fear not, as our live event partners Bam Bam Bam have just announced two shows in October at Band On the Wall, Manchester and the Fleece, Bristol. Sons of Kemet will also be visiting Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds, Hare & Hounds, Birmingham, Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff & Komedia Brighton on their autumn UK travels.

Sons Of Kemet’s “Your Queen Is A Reptile” LP was released via seminal Jazz record label Impulse! Which has previously released records from legends of Jazz including Pharoahe Sanders, Alice Coltrane and John Coltrane. Something band leader Shabaka Hutchings has described as “an honour”.
